The WESSLING test seal shows the consumer that the product is of superior quality. In order to award the seal of approval, our experts test for quality, safety and absence of harmful substances on the basis of a certification programme. The test seal not only stands for high quality, but also demonstrates to your customers your commitment to all aspects of corporate social responsibility.
Dust mite barrier against allergies
For those allergic to house dust mites, bedding fabric is crucial: The mite barrier seal marks products guaranteed to provide a dust mite barrier achieved through an adequate fabric density. The fabric is tested for down density with an impact test according to DIN EN 12132-2 and by optical scanning the maximum mesh size of covers. This certifies and documents the basic suitability of the covers as protection against mites.

The laboratories of WESSLING Germany are listed by Downpass e.V. as testing laboratories for DOWNPASS standard audits. Our audit specialists help ensure that the requirements are met in the countries of origin, for example in China.

The purpose of the DOWNPASS seal is to establish uniform standards for nature conservation, environmental protection and animal welfare by assessing producers and suppliers of the down and feather industry and to document a traceable supply chain.
