Business development manager, France, food industry (F/H)

Permanent contract, Full time - €50,000 per year

The position:

As Sales Development Manager France F/H, you will be responsible for defining, developing, leading and implementing the company's sales strategy, in line with the guidelines defined by management and the Group, with the aim of making the company a leader in the French food testing and safety market.

You will have the opportunity to diversify your skills and participate in the growth of your sector by supporting our customers - food manufacturers, raw material suppliers, catering companies and food industry professionals - in their efforts to ensure food safety and, beyond that, the reliability of their brand.

Your main tasks will be canvassing, analysing needs, designing sales operations and supporting customers throughout the process until projects are finalised.

Your ability to listen and analyse will enable you to identify and assess the specific needs of each customer, while ensuring the profitability and competitiveness of the offers made.

You will also be responsible for managing a high-performance team, while maintaining an active presence in the field.

Experience / Training

Your profile:

We are looking for a charismatic leader with at least 10 years' proven experience in the food analysis sector and a track record of success in a similar role to effectively drive business strategy and maximise growth opportunities.

In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, reference methods and technologies in the field of physico-chemical analysis, sensory evaluation, microbiological and biomolecular analysis is essential for this position, in order to respond perfectly to our customers' needs.

You have a higher education qualification in agronomy and agro-industry engineering (AgroParisTech, Institut Agro Rennes-Angers, Junia ISA, ENSAIA, UniLaSalle, etc.) with a dual business background: you have expertise in prospecting, sales techniques and commercial negotiation. Your passion for the sector and your ability to rise to challenges will be essential assets if you are to excel in this role.

Laboratory assistant (F/H) - Saint-Quentin-Fallavier (38)

Open-ended contract - St-Quentin-Fallavier (38) - €1775/month

The position:

As part of its expansion, WESSLING France is looking for a Laboratory Technician to report to the Head of Sample Preparation.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing samples in accordance with customer deadlines and in compliance with the IQA and safety standards in force:

  • Preparing samples in accordance with the Quality Assurance Instructions
  • Systematically record and check the weighings and results obtained, and enter the results returned to the customer in the analysis monitoring software.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the analyses and to the good organisation of the department.

For this position, you will need to enjoy working in a laboratory, have good dexterity, excellent organisational skills and be very thorough.

Experience / Training

Your profile:

Minimum school-leaving certificate, STL or scientific if possible

Experience required: none; however, knowledge of the use of semi-automatic pipettes would be a plus.

Candidates with laboratory experience will be particularly appreciated.

Multi-skilled logistics/reception clerk (F/H) - Saint-Quentin-Fallavier (38)

Open-ended contract - St-Quentin-Fallavier (38) - €1,831 to €1,904/month

The position:

To support our development needs, we are looking for a multi-skilled logistics/reception clerk.

You will work 3 days in the Reception department and 2 days in the Logistics department.

Your duties will be as follows:

Logistics department:

  • You will manage stocks of shipping materials (packaging and transport) for samples.
  • You will organise the dispatch of sample packaging material requested by our customers, either by carrier or directly, and its delivery to the customer, ensuring that it is suitable/compliant with the analyses requested and within the required deadlines.
  • You organise the return of samples by carrier
  • Or by collecting the samples from the customer's premises
  • You coordinate the return shipment of certain samples for which the analysis is subcontracted
  • Occasionally: you will replace the stock manager during his holidays or absences and provide help and support depending on his workload.

Reception department:

  • You will create the computerised order and register the samples
  • You register orders
  • Transfer samples
  • You will help manage the cold room and 24/24 fridges (temperature control, cleaning, etc.).

Experience / Training

Your profile:

Minimum level of education, / Driving licence, CACES 1 is a plus

Experience: Ideally, you will have some initial experience in logistics and cold storage.

Qualities: team player, curious, organised, dynamic

The position

As part of our development, we are looking for a Water and Sanitation Technical Assistant on a permanent contract, reporting to and working under the instructions of the PAC Sector Manager, in compliance with the health and safety regulations in force and the commitment to confidentiality, impartiality and integrity.

Your tasks are as follows:

  • You will assist with the deployment of audit and diagnostic assignments in the PAC division, working alongside your manager.
  • You will carry out diagnostic or intervention assignments independently
  • If necessary, you will reinforce the PAC centre team for sampling assignments
  • You will check the equipment required for your activity
  • You will write up reports on your work
  • You will report any malfunctions or information received from customers to your manager.
  • You contribute to quality management

Experience / Training

Your profile

You have a baccalaureate to baccalaureate + 2 in science or the environment.

You have at least 1 year's successful initial experience in the field and hold a driving licence.

You will be rigorous and reliable in your work, and have excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently. You will also enjoy working as part of a team.

Overnight travel is to be expected for this position.

Waste recovery laboratory technician (F/H) - Saint-Quentin-Fallavier (38)

Saint-Quentin-Fallavier (38) - Permanent contract - from €1,971/month

The position

In the field of recovery and energy, WESSLING analyses the components of organic and energy waste to enable them to be recovered.

As a recovery and energy laboratory technician, you will be responsible for analysing samples, processing the results and reporting them, taking into account customer deadlines, in compliance with the methods and procedures and safety instructions in force, under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager.

As part of a team of 4 people, reporting to the Head of the Value and Energy Laboratory, your tasks will be as follows:

If necessary, you will prepare samples in accordance with current methods.

  • You will analyse the samples
  • You will process the results obtained and the results in the LIMS.
  • You will contribute to the smooth running of analyses and the organisation of the laboratory
  • You participate in the development of methods (introduction of new analytical methods in collaboration with your manager, improvement of existing methods, validation of method quality).
  • You will ensure that analysis deadlines are managed in accordance with customer requirements.
  • You will identify and carry out maintenance work on analytical equipment and manage the stock of consumables.
  • You will take part in the training and accreditation of laboratory staff, provided that you have sufficient experience in the role in relation to the objective set.

Required experience / training

Your profile

Technician with a scientific BAC or Bac +2. You have at least : At least 1 to 2 years' experience in a laboratory.
